Katrina kaif as a museum Barbie!

If London has its waxwork of Aishwarya Bachchan at Madame Tussauds, then New York is getting Katrina Kaif’s as Barbie Doll in Bloomingdale’s.

Yes, the stunning actress who hopes to make it to the No 1 slot in Bollywood this year, is happily trilling Aqua’s song I’m A Barbie Girl, In My Barbie World… these days. You remember she walked the ramp at the Mumbai Fashion Week in March as the Indian face of the celebrity doll, don’t you? Well, the gorgeous face and sexy body of Katz is being moulded into the world’s most popular doll for the Barbie Museum in NY.

“The customised Barbie being made for the American museum will be just like me,” confirmed the actress who will join those of the likes of international pop singers Beyonce Knowles and Diana Ross in the showcase. (Incidentally, Ash’s waxwork stands alongside others from Bollywood and India, including Pa Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Sachin Tendulkar.) “I’m thrilled! As a kid I used to play with Barbie dolls — which girl hasn’t? Almost every household has one. It’s every little girl’s dream companion,” said Katz.

It’s not true that Ash was first considered for this honour and then replaced by Katz. “It’s just a coincidence that I’m getting whatever she had earlier,” said the actress who is endorsing some brands made popular by Ash earlier. “She’s moved onto doing things which for her are even bigger, but that doesn’t mean I’ve replaced her.” The Barbie Doll concept came about after several designers were asked to compete by creating outfits for the doll, with the winning design being modelled at the fashion week by Katrina.

John wants only Katrina kaif

Looks like John Abraham is taking his fondness for Katrina Kaif to a new level. The actor has been suggesting Kat’s name to every producer who comes his way.

Recently, when Johnny boy was offered Rob Cohen’s The Jewel of India, he told the makers to chose Katrina over Deepika.

Even though Cohen himself has personally admitted he’s mesmerised by Deepika, John insisted that Katrina had wider appeal.

A source reveals, “John sounded like Kat’s agent. He kept telling the producers how the international film needed a leading lady like Katrina as she has a more foreign appeal.

John also claimed he would reduce his fee if they got Kat on board.”

Now only if he would concentrate more on acting rather than marketing, he wouldn’t have to take that pay cut!

Katrina stalked

Last week, Katrina Kaif had the scare of her life when she learnt she was being stalked.

To make matters worse, the stalker managed to hoodwink the security guards in her building and landed up at the actress’ house twice. Fortunately, he was handed over to the police last week.

A close friend of Katrina said, “The man had been constantly hanging out outside Katrina’s building but no one paid any attention to him. But, a week ago he went up to her house early in the morning and told the domestic help that Katrina had summoned him. It was 7.30am and as Katrina was asleep, the domestic help called up Katrina’s business manager, who asked the man to come back later in the evening.”

Rajniti Hindi Movie Preview – Katrina Kaif

Prakash Jha’s new film is titled Rajniti (meaning politics) and if industry rumors are to be believed Katrina Kaif will be playing a minister in the film.

Rajniti will be a film that chronicles the journey of an ordinary woman (Katrina) fighting day to day corruption who goes on to become Chief Minister. It will also show the emotions of a woman living in politics, the sufferings endured by a woman in the dark world of polity.

It is learnt that to imbibe the diction Katrina Kaif is taking some speech classes and she is also watching some video footage of woman ministers including that of Sonia Gandhi. She is also trying to emulate the mannerisms of the Gandhi in her character. According to the director Katrina is perfect for the role and he could not think of any other star, but time has an answer if Rajniti will be at hit at box office or bombs.

Katrina Spills the Beans!

Looks like the smoke is slowly coming out and you cannot hide any further.

Recently, in a candid revelation, the Katrina Kaif dubbed her beau Salman and threw her weight around Shah Rukh Khan. In fact, reports say that The Singh Is King’ hottie is not even on speaking terms!

Katrina said, “Salman is unpredictable, while Shahrukh is intelligent and Akshay is a blast.” She adjoins, “Salman always does hins that he feels right and only he knows why he feels that particular thing is right… you can’t track his mood. As for me, I really don’t get into those things nor spend too much time trying to understand him because the entire process is too lengthy and complicated.”

Katrina Kaif Tattoo On Her Chest

Bollywood’s hottest babe Katrina Kaif has got her slim body to flaunt. Now she has embedded some more asset to her beautiful body. She has got two tattoos inked on her soft skin. One is on her chest and another is on her arm. However, the tattoos are erasable whats so valuable that she has not erased yet.

It is learnt that Katrina got inked for a photoshoot she did on Sunday. The gorgeous actress, who’s been sporting a fringe hairdo ever since she was declared the new face of Barbie dolls, did not remove the tattoos after the shoot and was seen flaunting them at the wrap-up party of director Rajkumar Santoshi’s film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

The bash was held on Sunday night at producer Ramesh Taurani’s home in Khar.

All the important crewmembers came to the party and Katrina, particularly, was in a very jolly mood. She was cheery throughout the bash and was spotted sharing many laughs with co-star Ranbir Kapoor .

Now, shouldn’t that start another round of rumours? There already rumors about their affair and latest action will only work as fuel in fire.

Vote Karo: While we are happy that Kat has been named as the Indian Barbie but we can’t really help but wonder if that decision is fair?! Katrina has a British passport and is a British citizen. Ash is internationally renowned while Katrina doesn’t enjoy international fame. So really what could be the reason for Kat edging Ash out for this one?

Katrina Kaif splurges money

Katrina Kaif is enjoying a good phase in her career and can afford to spend as much as she can. On herself of course.

But the actress just decided to spurge on the unit members of Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani’.

The buzz is that while shooting at Film City, Kat distributed as much as Rs 5 lakh among the unit members which included the technicians and spot boys.

A source reveals, “After wrapping up the schedule, Katrina went into her vanity van and came out with bundles of notes and started distributing them among the unit members. She was in a happy mood and wanted to share her happiness with everyone.”

Katrina has reportedly acted on her instincts and while handing the money also thanked everyone personally.

It’s being said that she was showing appreciation for the long hours, sometimes 16 hours at a stretch that the unit had put in and her way of saying thanks to as many as 300 people was calling them by their names and handing out the cash to each one personally.

The director Santoshi was also reportedly caught by surprise as people don’t usually do what he did

Reportedly Kat doesn’t wish to publicize this whole thing much.

A source said, “Katrina is not comfortable talking about it but yes, she did give away Rs 5 lakh to the entire unit. While handing out the cash, she personally commended everyone on his job. Also though stars and technicians often get credit for their work most unit people neither get appreciation nor credit. Katrina just felt it was the right thing to do and she did it.”

Well, that’s what her handlers say, but in a way by not talking about it, she’s publicizing it already. Much like every other Bollywood star who wishes to show off his/ her charitable side.
